Senior Product Manager
Role summary
The Senior Product Manager will oversee research and development for software products, managing their design, development, and qualification. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to meet product requirements, evaluating product performance, and guiding products through commercialization. The Product Manager will act as a customer liaison for technical issues, potentially lead major releases, and manage product delivery schedules. Collaboration with vendors and partners for integration projects is also a key responsibility. A Bachelor's degree and proficiency in SaaS are required, with experience in specific technology areas being a plus.
Under the direction of the *VP of Product Management*, the Product Manager will manage research and development activities relating to the design and development of software products and qualification or re-qualification of new and existing products.
Essential Job Functions:
- Works with a cross-functional team to ensure fulfillment of product requirements.
- Evaluates product performance and transition products from development to commercialization.
- Assists in determining product delivery and deployment dates for new product releases.
Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks:
- Acts as a customer liaison on technical issues related to product integration, custom development, and requirements.
- May lead major releases and ensure feature enhancements respond to customer requests.
- Responsible for product delivery managing schedules and tasks related to all aspects of product development.
- Work with vendors/partners to plan and coordinate integration projects

- Possesses solid working knowledge of software-as-a-service.
- May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.

- Proficient in technical expertise and computer skills.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
