Role summary
Texas Health Mansfield is seeking a Trauma Program Manager to oversee the daily operations of the trauma program, ensuring optimal care for injured patients. This role involves collaborating with nursing and patient care departments, supervising performance improvement and patient safety activities, and preparing committee meetings. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of trauma, emergency, or critical care nursing experience, a Bachelor's of Nursing, and strong organizational, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Experience with trauma registry and coding is preferred.

Job Description:
Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm)
- Identifies educational needs of nursing staff and facilitates specific education in conjunction with department leadership.
- Supports outreach education in cooperation with Trauma Outreach Manager and pre-hospital services.
- Collaborates with local, regional, and national injury prevention and community outreach initiatives.
- Oversees daily operations of the trauma program to ensure optimal care for injured patients.
- Collaborates with nursing and other patient care departments to manage trauma patient and family care processes.
- Supervises trauma performance improvement and patient safety activities in conjunction with the Trauma Medical Director.
- Prepares and assists with monthly trauma performance improvement committee meetings.

Licenses and Certifications:

- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
- Trauma Nurse Course Certified (TNCC) [Preferred]
- Certified Advanced Trauma Nurse (CATN) [Preferred]

Pay Range:
$68,286.00 - $127,008.00
