Role summary

Aeroex Technologies, a North American manufacturer of advanced air filtration systems for the metalworking and manufacturing industries, is seeking a driven Business Development Representative (BDR) for their Barrie, Ontario office. The BDR will generate and qualify new business opportunities through outbound activities, build prospect pipelines in HubSpot CRM, and schedule meetings for the sales team. The role requires strong communication and relationship-building skills, with preferred experience in business development, inside sales, customer service, or outbound prospecting, and familiarity with CRM systems and the manufacturing sector.

As part of this growth, Aeroex is seeking a driven and motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team in Barrie, Ontario.

What You’ll Do

-Generate and qualify new business opportunities through outbound calls, email campaigns, outreach, and lead follow-up

-Support the sales team by identifying potential OEMs, distributors, machine shops, and manufacturing customers across North America

-Build and maintain prospect pipelines within HubSpot CRM

-Schedule meetings, product demonstrations, and discovery calls for Territory Sales Managers

-Research target industries, manufacturing trends, and strategic accounts

-Assist with trade show follow-up, inbound inquiries, and marketing-driven lead generation efforts

-Work closely with sales leadership to develop outreach strategies and improve prospect engagement

What You Bring

-1–3 years of experience in business development, inside sales, customer service, or outbound prospecting preferred

-Strong communication and relationship-building skills

-Highly motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented mindset

-Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging prospective customers

-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

-Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and Google Workspace is an asset

-Interest or experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, or technical sales is considered an advantage
