About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and relationship-driven Business Development Representative to join our growing team at SolutionStack. This role is focused on generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and supporting the sales process from prospecting to qualification.
The ideal candidate is confident in outreach, enjoys connecting with people, and thrives in a fast-paced sales environment.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect potential clients through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, networking, and referrals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and clients
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and schedule meetings for the sales team
- Manage and grow a pipeline of business opportunities
- Conduct research on target companies, industries, and decision-makers
- Follow up consistently with prospects to nurture long-term relationships
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to improve outreach strategies
- Maintain accurate records of activities and opportunities within the CRM
- Attend networking events, trade shows, and client meetings when required
- Meet or exceed monthly KPIs and sales targets
Requirements
- Previous experience in sales, business development, account management, or customer-facing roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with cold calling and proactive outreach
- Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM platforms, and sales tools is considered an asset
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and organized
- Ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in B2B sales
- Experience working in technology, SaaS, or IT-related industries
- Knowledge of sales pipelines and lead generation strategies
