Role summary

Affinity is seeking a UX/UI Designer for a 12-month contract role. The designer will be responsible for developing user-centered designs, creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Job Description
On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking a UX/UI Designer for a 12 month contract.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement user-centered design processes to create seamless, intuitive, and visually compelling user interfaces
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, ensuring usability and functionality across platforms and devices
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into engaging UI designs
  • Conduct user testing, gather feedback, and iterate on designs to enhance usability
  • Create and maintain design documentation, including UI specifications, guidelines, and assets
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/UI

Key Qualifications And Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design principles
  • Strong proficiency in UX/UI tools (Figma required), including wireframing, prototyping, and visual design
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present ideas and incorporate feedback
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify usability issues and improve user experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving priorities
  • Experience with information architecture (user flows, sitemaps, process flows)
  • Experience developing low- and high-fidelity prototypes
  • Strong visual design skills, including layouts, components, and consistency across interfaces
  • Bonus: Experience with 3D modeling, animation, or scripting (e.g., C#, JavaScript)
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar
  • Degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or equivalent experience
