Role summary

Affinity is seeking a UX/UI Designer for a 12-month contract role. The designer will be responsible for developing user-centered designs, creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Job Description
On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking a UX/UI Designer for a 12 month contract.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement user-centered design processes to create seamless, intuitive, and visually compelling user interfaces
Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, ensuring usability and functionality across platforms and devices
Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into engaging UI designs
Conduct user testing, gather feedback, and iterate on designs to enhance usability
Create and maintain design documentation, including UI specifications, guidelines, and assets
Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/UI

Key Qualifications And Skills

5+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design principles
Strong proficiency in UX/UI tools (Figma required), including wireframing, prototyping, and visual design
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present ideas and incorporate feedback
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify usability issues and improve user experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving priorities
Experience with information architecture (user flows, sitemaps, process flows)
Experience developing low- and high-fidelity prototypes
Strong visual design skills, including layouts, components, and consistency across interfaces
Bonus: Experience with 3D modeling, animation, or scripting (e.g., C#, JavaScript)
Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar
Degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or equivalent experience
