About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate QA Engineer to join our dynamic team in Mexico. As a QA Engineer at LotusFlare, you will be responsible for assessing the quality of our software products through both automation and manual testing methodologies. Your role will involve developing and implementing testing strategies, creating comprehensive test plans, and executing test cases throughout the software development lifecycle. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality before release.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in manual and automation testing, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
- Proficiency with automation testing tools such as Appium, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with API testing tools like SOAPUI, Postman, and automation of API testing is advantageous.
- Familiarity with project management and test management tools including Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, and Xray.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent tools.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Previous experience in the telecommunications sector is preferred but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze system specifications to understand testing requirements and project objectives.
- Collaborate directly with stakeholders, product managers, and developers to define testing strategies aligned with project goals.
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Create comprehensive reports documenting testing phases, defect details, and quality metrics.
- Identify, report, and track bugs and errors, working closely with development teams to facilitate prompt resolution.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis, and verifying fixes.
- Conduct pre-release, post-release, and post-implementation testing to ensure software stability and performance.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to embed quality assurance practices at every stage of development.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts, integrating them into existing CI/CD pipelines and test management systems.
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
