About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Remote Property Accountant to join our dynamic team. Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a strong educational background and relevant experience, including:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Proficiency in general ledger management, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are considered a plus.
Responsibilities
The Property Accountant will be instrumental in maintaining the financial integrity of our property portfolio. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing, analyzing, and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple properties.
- Performing detailed account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Executing month-end close procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Assisting in the development and management of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
- Collaborating with property managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Supporting external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
