Senior Technical Program Manager, Hosting Services
Role summary
Airbnb is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) for its Hosting Services team, focusing on building tools to simplify the hosting experience and drive growth. This role is US-Remote Eligible and requires a technical, hands-on individual excited about leveraging AI to automate workflows and scale team impact. The TPM will lead complex, cross-functional projects, manage project plans, influence technical direction, and navigate ambiguity. Key responsibilities include defining success criteria, assessing risks, and communicating progress to senior leaders. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in software development, with at least 5 years as a TPM, and experience using AI to improve productivity. Familiarity with ML models, LLMs, A/B testing, and iterative development is essential.

Hosting Services focuses on building tools that make hosting on Airbnb easier. This includes building new as well as expanding existing solutions, such as co-host matching and management tools, as well as systems that enhance campaign delivery and host referrals across the platform. The team works across multiple tracks to simplify the hosting experience and unlock growth for both new and existing hosts.

You will play a crucial role in tackling complexity and delivering predictable, consistent, and impactful results. You will be leading complex projects/programs that touch multiple product surfaces, services, functions and teams, and hence are required to keep the big picture in focus while being able to dive into the details, working through unique challenges. Success in this role requires a strong sense of ownership, coupled with the ability to think critically and strategically while managing relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.
