Role summary
Anduril is seeking an Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) in Quincy, MA, to support its Industrial Security team. This role is crucial for safeguarding classified information and ensuring compliance with DoD security regulations. The AFSO will assist the Facility Security Officer (FSO) in implementing the industrial security program across multiple Boston-area locations and Rhode Island. Responsibilities include personnel processing, document control, conducting self-inspections, maintaining security databases (DISS, NISS), providing security training, and managing access control systems. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of related security experience, a Bachelor's degree, a current U.S. TOP SECRET security clearance, and a strong understanding of industrial security regulations like 32 CFR and NISPOM. This hybrid role requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently or in a team environment.

The Industrial Security team plays a crucial role in safeguarding classified information and ensuring Anduril’s compliance with DoD security regulations. Customer service is key; we work cross-functionally with Anduril teams and cleared personnel as well as with government counterparts to create a continuously evolving security program that becomes part of the imbedded culture at Anduril.
ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for an Assistant Facility Security Officer in Quincy, MA to join our rapidly growing team. The Assistant Facility Security Officer (FSO) is responsible for assisting the Facility Security Officer (FSO) with implementing and directing the industrial security program and ensuring company and customer security requirements are met at Anduril’s Boston-area locations (Quincy, MA; Lexington, MA; Woburn, MA; Waltham, MA; Quonset, RI, additional sites as AOR expands). Candidates will interface with all levels of personnel and government management personnel to ensure contract security compliance with 32 CFR, the National Industrial Security Program, the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Contract Security Classification Specification (DD Form 254) and Security Classification Guides (SCGs). The position requires a self-motivated candidate that can work in an independent or team environment with some direction. The candidate will be required to assist the FSO in developing and implementing processes and procedures, conduct security self-inspections, apply risk mitigation methodologies, support customer assessments, and implement security measures to meet requirements.
