Assistant Facility Security Officer
Role summary
Stratolaunch is seeking an Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) to support the Facility Security Officer (FSO) in managing the company's security program. This role involves overseeing daily industrial security operations, ensuring compliance with NISPOM and DoD requirements, processing security clearances, maintaining personnel security records, and safeguarding classified information. The AFSO will also manage visitor control, implement security education programs, and assist in resolving security-related issues. The position requires 3+ years of experience in defense contracting, a Bachelor's degree, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. Preferred qualifications include experience as an AFSO and working in Special Access Programs (SAP).

Stratolaunch is looking for an amazingly talented Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) to join our team! In this role you will assist the Facility Security Officer (FSO) in administering and managing the Security Program, providing policies, plans, procedures, departmental instructions, and technical support of safeguards and security programs to protect client security interests.
