Position Overview
The Master Data Analyst is a member of the IT department and plays a critical role in maintaining and governing master data across Argon’s core business systems. Reporting to the IT Director of Business Applications, this role ensures that business-critical data—including customer, vendor, product, pricing, and material master records—is accurate, consistent, and compliant. The position will work closely with business stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Regulatory, Quality, and Commercial teams, while supporting the integration of master data between QAD ERP and Salesforce CRM.
What You Will Do

  • Govern, validate, and maintain master data records in QAD ERP and Salesforce.com CRM.
  • Ensure consistency of product, vendor, customer, and pricing data across systems.
  • Support new product introductions by establishing accurate material master records.
  • Enforce and improve master data governance policies, standards, and workflows.
  • Monitor data quality and integrity; perform audits and resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to define and harmonize data rules across the business.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for master data processes within QAD ERP and SFDC.
  • Partner with IT colleagues to maintain data synchronization between systems.
  • Participate in ERP and CRM upgrades, migrations, and enhancements.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to track data quality KPIs.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate master data management processes.
  • Provide training and support to business users on data standards and best practices.

Skills For Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in Master Data Management or Data Governance.
  • Strong knowledge of master data domains: Customer, Vendor, Product, Pricing, Finance.
  • High proficiency in Excel; SQL and reporting/visualization tools experience preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with QAD ERP and Salesforce.com strongly preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work across departments.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Up to 20% travel
