We are looking for a UX/UI Designer to own and elevate Arrae’s on-site digital experience across all e-commerce touchpoints. This role sits within the E-Commerce team and will partner closely with the Head of E-Commerce, Product Manager, Developers, Growth, and Brand Design to deliver high-performing, conversion-focused experiences.
This is a hands-on role for a one-person design lead responsible for designing and optimizing key site experiences, supporting product launches and campaigns, and improving conversion through ongoing testing and iteration.
The ideal candidate is both creative and analytical, using user behavior insights and experimentation to guide decisions and drive measurable on-site impact.
What You'll Do
- Own UX/UI design across the e-commerce site, including PDPs, homepage, landing pages, and collection pages.
- Design and support product launches, SKU expansions, and promotional periods such as BFCM, New Year, and site-wide campaigns.
- Create and iterate on A/B tests in partnership with Growth and Product teams to improve conversion and user experience.
- Use data and insights from tools like Microsoft Clarity to identify friction points and inform design decisions.
- Design and execute site assets including homepage banners, promotional modules, pop-ups, and on-site messaging.
- Collaborate closely with developers to deliver high-quality, feasible designs and ensure accurate implementation.
- Partner with the Brand Design team to maintain visual consistency while optimizing for digital performance.
- Build and evolve Arrae’s web design system, creating scalable components and guidelines for consistency.
- Identify opportunities for ongoing site optimization and proactively propose UX improvements.
- Support QA to ensure designs are executed accurately and consistently across devices.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in UX/UI design within e-commerce or digital product environments (DTC preferred).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating conversion-focused design work (PDPs, landing pages, testing, etc.).
- Proficiency in Figma.
- Hands-on experience designing for Shopify.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, user behavior, and conversion optimization.
- Experience using data to inform design decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience with heatmapping and behavior analytics tools (e.g., Microsoft Clarity).

- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or Liquid.
- Experience working closely with developers on implementation and QA.
- Experience contributing to or building design systems.
Who You Are
- Highly systems-minded and detail-oriented—you naturally think in processes and structure.
- A proactive problem-solver who defaults to “how do we fix this?” rather than blocking decisions.
- Calm under pressure and confident handling live site or customer-impacting issues.
- Detail-obsessed—you catch inconsistencies and edge cases others miss.
- Technically curious and eager to learn new tools and integrations.
- Collaborative and communicative across both technical and non-technical teams.
