Job Title: Product Manager 2

Location: Seattle, WA 98101 (ONSITE SEATTLE 4 days a week, 01 day Remote)

Duration: 9 Months

Hours per Week: 40.00; Hours Per Day: 8.00

Pay Range - $60/hr. -$68/hr. on W2eek

About the Role:

POS+ team owns the Point of Sale platform powering full-line stores and across thousands of registers nationwide. We're looking for a contract Product Manager or Senior Product Manager to join the team through the end of 2026, covering two planned leaves across our Core Enablement and Checkout & Pay squads.

  • This is a high-visibility engagement with real scope — you'll own active epics, work directly with Engineering and UX partners, and contribute to delivery that affects how our store teams serve customers every day. For the right person, there is a genuine path to a full-time role as the team evaluates a headcount expansion tied to engineering growth.
  • What You'll Work On
  • From May through July, you'll support the Core Enablement squad across Q2 deliverables & H2 backlog planning, prioritizing features needed to expand & scale our new POS system in stores before Holiday.
  • From August through December, you'll move into the Checkout & Pay squad for Q3 and Q4, owning delivery of Card Not Present Payment functionality (Durable Consent, Card-on-File/Wallet, Payment Link & Consent Management), & Product-not-Present ordering.

What You'll Do:

  • Own epic-level delivery end to end — from problem framing through launch — in partnership with Engineering, UX, and store operations stakeholders.
  • Maintain backlog health, sprint cadence, and delivery transparency for your assigned squad.
  • Communicate clearly with cross-functional partners and escalate blockers early.
  • Represent your squad's work in planning forums and leadership updates.
  • Navigate ambiguity with good judgment and a bias toward action.

Skills: What We're Looking For

  • At the PDM level, we're looking for someone who can operate independently within a defined scope, manage a backlog with minimal oversight, and communicate effectively across Engineering and design partners. Retail or commerce experience is a plus.
  • At the Sr. PDM level, we're looking for someone who brings domain depth — ideally in payments, POS, or retail technology — and can hit the ground running with limited ramp time. You should be comfortable shaping ambiguous problems, influencing without authority, and driving delivery in a fast-moving environment.

Across both levels, the strongest candidates will have:

  • Experience as a PM on a consumer-facing or internal platform product
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery and cross-functional squad models
  • Strong written and verbal communication, especially with technical partners
  • A track record of delivering in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Payments or retail POS experience is a meaningful plus, not a requirement

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience. (5+ years)
