Role summary

Atwell is seeking a Project Surveyor to work on diverse land development projects. This role involves partnering with Project Managers to define project scopes, budgets, and schedules. Key responsibilities include leading and overseeing various types of surveys (boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, construction) with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. The Project Surveyor will utilize technical expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center for data processing, creating plats, exhibits, and maps, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Collaboration with engineers, contractors, and clients is essential, acting as the trusted survey voice. The company offers paid training, industry events, and professional networking opportunities.

    Job Description

  • Partner closely with Project Managers to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules for land development projects of all sizes.
  • Lead and oversee boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, and construction surveys with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Use your technical expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center to process data, create detailed plats, exhibits, and maps, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Review and verify survey calculations and field data, ensuring precision and compliance with project standards.
  • Collaborate daily with engineers, contractors, and clients - you’ll be the trusted survey voice on the team.
  • Continue developing your skills through paid training, industry events, and professional networking opportunities.
  • Qualifications

  • A deep understanding of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Legal Descriptions, Easements, Title Review, and Real Estate Documents.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center - you know how to turn data into accuracy and insight.
  • Experience with Trimble field equipment preferred.
  • Prior field crew experience is a plus - you understand both sides of the process.
  • LSIT or PLS certification desired (multi-state licensure a plus).

    $35$45 USD
