Account Executive, Southeast Region

Location: Remote

Aurigo is seeking a results-driven Account Executive to lead strategic public sector sales efforts in the Southeast territory. This senior-level role offers a high-impact opportunity to drive multimillion-dollar enterprise SaaS deals that help public agencies modernize how they manage infrastructure and capital projects.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in enterprise SaaS sales with experience navigating public procurement cycles. A deep understanding of RFP processes, budget planning, and long-cycle government sales will be critical, along with the ability to engage C-level executives and IT decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

- Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans for public sector opportunities in the Southwest region.
- Enterprise SaaS Sales:
Manage the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and discovery to RFP submission, negotiation, and contract close.
- Public Sector Focus:
Build trusted relationships with decision-makers in state and local government, public utilities, and transportation agencies.
- Revenue Growth:
Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets by driving predictable growth in your territory.
- Procurement Navigation:
Lead the development of winning RFP/RFI responses and facilitate the public procurement process.
- Executive Engagement:
Present Aurigo’s value proposition to senior leaders and agency heads through in-person and virtual meetings, demos, and tailored presentations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with pre-sales, proposal, marketing, and customer success teams to deliver a unified, compelling client experience.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 7+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience, with a strong emphasis on selling to public sector organizations.
  • Demonstrated success navigating complex, multi-stakeholder government sales cycles.
  • Experience with platforms like SAP, Oracle, Maximo, or Primavera is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of public sector procurement processes, including RFIs, RFPs, and multi-year contract structures.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to build credibility with senior government leaders and IT stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Based in the Southeast U.S., with the ability to travel regionally as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Public Administration, or a related field.
