Role summary

Aversan Inc. is seeking a Senior Hardware Test Engineer in Mississauga, ON, for a full-time, hybrid role. The engineer will design and develop safety-critical electronic products for the aerospace, defence, and space industries. Responsibilities include product requirements analysis, test system design using National Instruments hardware, integration, validation, and verification. The role requires strong systems test engineering experience, proficiency in C/Python, and advanced test hardware/software design and automation skills, with experience in analog and digital electronic circuits. The position offers an annual salary of $90,000 – $120,000 CAD.

We are currently seeking a qualified
Senior Hardware Test Engineer
to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electronic products in the safety critical domain. The ideal candidate will be proficient in circuit design, analysis and testing of electronic products.

Responsibilities

  • Product requirements analysis and requirements decomposition for test
  • Test systems design (National Instrument PXI/LXI and VXI products)
  • Product and Test systems integration and Test systems validation & verification.
  • Interacts with other engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, or modifications.
  • Identifies functional problems and suggests resolutions.
  • Assists in the definition of internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs.
  • Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports.
  • Familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks.
  • May lead and direct the work of others.
  • Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Strong systems test engineering experience
  • Experience with C and/or Python programming skills
  • Advanced Test Hardware and Software design/automation experience
  • Electronic Circuits - Analog and Digital experience.

Compensation:
$90,000 – $120,000 CAD (annual salary)
