Role summary

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and optimize scalable CI/CD pipelines while driving DevOps best practices across teams. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and hands-on experience in modern cloud and microservices environments. Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes, optimizing system performance, working with messaging and database systems, and collaborating with development teams in an Agile setting. Strong programming skills in Python, Groovy, or JavaScript are essential, along with experience in cloud environments like Azure, AWS, or OpenShift.

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI
Lead DevOps initiatives and mentor team members to enhance delivery efficiency and reliability
Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (Azure, AWS, or OpenShift)
Collaborate with development teams to support microservices architecture and ensure seamless deployment processes
Optimize system performance with a strong understanding of scalability, concurrency, caching, and distributed systems
Work with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka for reliable data flow
Manage and optimize databases including SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Elasticsearch)
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement and iterative development

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and automation
Strong programming skills in Python, Groovy, or JavaScript
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and frameworks such as Spring and Maven
Proven experience working in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or OpenShift)
Hands-on experience with containerization, orchestration, and distributed systems
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative Agile environment
