Dental Receptionist - Temporary Full Time

We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist. You will be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a vital role in creating an excellent patient experience while supporting the smooth daily operations of our dental practice. Our office provides a clean, warm, welcoming, and comfortable environment where patients and team members feel valued.

This is a temporary full time position expected to run through August 28th.

Schedule: Full Time Temporary, Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment
• Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations
• Process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
• Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed
• Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
• Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned

Qualifications:

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of dental front office experience

Preferred Skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Experience with dental practice management software
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures

The salary range for this role is $18-$20 per hour.
