Dental Receptionist

Sprout Kids Dentistry is a new pediatric dental office in Windsor, dedicated to providing exceptional care in a fun, friendly, and child-focused environment. We’re expanding our passionate team committed to creating positive dental experiences for children and their families. If you’re an organized, friendly, and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist, we’d love for you to join our incredible team!

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome patients and families, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring efficient use of the clinical team's time.
• Manage phone calls and emails, answering inquiries and providing excellent customer service.
• Communicate with referring dental offices to provide streamlined patient care.
• Provide assistance to families navigating barriers to care with a warm and patient attitude.
• Process insurance pre-determinations, claims, payments, and billing accurately.
• Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist families in understanding treatment plans, payment options, and insurance coverage.
• Communicate with the clinical team to provide the best patient experience.
• Support a fun and engaging office environment that makes dental visits enjoyable for children and workdays enjoyable for colleagues!

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a dental reception role is a strong asset but not required.
• Experience with Tracker software is a strong asset but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially when working with children and families.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and a high level of professionalism.
• Fluency in a second language is an asset but not required.

Position Details:

• Position will start with approximately 30 hours per week with the opportunity to grow to 40 hours per week.
• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
• Salary: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Additional Requirements:

Successful candidates will be required to complete a vulnerable sector check.
