Role summary

Seeking a Senior Program Manager for a contract role in Toronto, requiring 5 days onsite. The role involves developing multi-year program roadmaps, overseeing end-to-end program execution, and establishing program governance. Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in these areas, along with a strong understanding of enterprise IT systems, system integration, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and solution delivery. Advanced skills in program planning, financial management, risk management, and governance are essential. Experience managing vendors and contracts is also required. While not needing to be technical, the ability to liaise with IT is crucial. Preferred certifications include PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, PROSCI, ITIL, and Agile/Scrum.

Note: Don’t need to be technical themselves but should be able to liaise with IT

Ideal Candidate Rate: CAD 110-115/Hr (Depending on the experience)

Must Have:

  • 8+ years experience Develop multi-year program roadmaps,
  • 8+ years experience Oversee end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of program components.
  • 8+ years experience Establish program governance, including decision-making forums, reporting structures, and performance metrics.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT systems, system integration, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and solution delivery.
  • Advanced skills in program planning, financial management, risk management, and governance.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendors, contracts, and third-party delivery partners.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills.

Preferred Certifications

  • PMP, PgMP, or PMI-ACP
  • PROSCI Change Management
  • ITIL
  • Agile/Scrum certifications (e.g., CSM, SAFe)
