Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer

<Job Summary>
We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of scalable cloud infrastructure solutions. <Responsibilities>

• Architect and implement robust cloud infrastructure solutions utilizing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, Rackspace, and OpenStack to meet business needs.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, PowerShell, Bash scripting, and Shell Scripting to streamline deployment processes.
• Manage virtualization environments including VMware, Citrix, and Docker containers to optimize resource utilization and system performance.
• Design and implement scalable microservices architectures with Kubernetes, Docker, RESTful APIs, and serverless frameworks supporting SaaS and PaaS applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to establish CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and other DevOps tools ensuring rapid application deployment and continuous integration.
• Monitor system health through comprehensive logging, alerting, and performance tuning; perform system hardening and security assessments to safeguard cloud infrastructure.
• Support database management tasks involving MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, NoSQL databases like MongoDB or DynamoDB; ensure data integrity and optimal performance.

<Qualifications>

• Proven experience in cloud architecture design with a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts such as IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), SaaS (Software as a Service), and virtualization technologies.
• Extensive knowledge of operating systems including Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS), Windows Server environments; familiarity with UNIX systems is a plus.
• Hands-on expertise with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes; experience with system hardening for security compliance.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python, Ruby, PowerShell, Bash; strong skills in software development methodologies like Agile or SDLC frameworks.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs for web services integration; experience working with cloud APIs for service orchestration.
• Strong background in IT infrastructure management covering VPNs, network security protocols, system management tools like Microsoft System Center or equivalent.
