Role summary
Bridgestone Americas is seeking passionate and innovative engineers for its NextGen Engineering program. This program offers a unique opportunity to join the world's largest tire and rubber company and receive specialized training in automation and robotics through the Rockwell Automation Institute. The 6-month program includes classroom learning, lab work, and field assignments. Upon completion, participants will continue their development as Electrical/Controls Engineers at the Aiken, SC ORR plant, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to impactful projects. This role is ideal for recent graduates with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and manufacturing internship/co-op experience.

# Position Summary
Engineers at Bridgestone have a passion for innovation that drives our company forward. Our NextGen Engineering program gives you the opportunity to join the world's largest tire and rubber company at the forefront of innovation and mobility while receiving training from an industry leader in automation and robotics. Bridgestone’s NextGen Engineers start their time with us by attending the Rockwell Automation Institute for a 6-month program, receiving technical and professional training focused on automation and controls. The training program provides a blend of classroom learning, lab work, field assignments, projects, and professional development.
After completion of the Rockwell EIT program, you would continue your learning and development in the Aiken, SC ORR plant as an Electrical/Controls Engineer.

# Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, or Robotics and Automation Engineering
- Experience with CAD applications
- Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing setting
- 3.0 GPA
- Availability for June 2026 cohort start
