Role summary

Umbrava, LLC is seeking a Product Manager to drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes, from research and planning to launch and post-launch analysis. This role involves developing product roadmaps, managing the product backlog, and collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and design teams to ensure successful product development and market adoption. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in SaaS product management, a proven track record of bringing successful products to market, and a strong understanding of user-centered design and Agile methodologies. This position requires a self-starter with strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills, thriving in a fast-paced startup environment.

About Umbrava: Umbrava is a SaaS facilities management platform that provides support to multi-site retailers, facilities managers, and service providers to assist with vendor/work order management of services including maintenance, store remodels and improvements, HVAC, plumbing, janitorial services, small-to-medium construction projects, and more.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch.
  • Develop detailed product scope documents and oversee implementation from ideation to launch through working cross-functionally.
  • Analyze and perform extensive research on market data to develop marketing content, materials, new product launches and go-to-market strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales on product and buyer expertise to ensure commercial success.
  • Create and maintain the product backlog of features and partner with internal members to ensure backlog of user stories is created, maintained, and thoughtfully prioritized.
  • Work closely with engineering to align product development with current and future technology capabilities.
  • Getting involved in the design process to ensure user-centric product experiences.

• Managing projects from ideation to delivery, ensuring the intent and execution are aligned. • Identify goals, metrics, and analytics to determine product value.

  • Continually make recommendations on product improvements and product sales performance.

• Setting up processes to capture and organize user feedback. • Act as the go-to person for anything and everything concerning the product.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science, engineering, or management information systems; MBA or marketing graduate degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant product management experience in SaaS and/or subscription business (Construction, FM, Real Estate etc.) with a proven track record of bringing successful products to market.

• Familiarity with Agile framework • Ability to create strong user-centered consumer experiences.

  • Thrives in a small startup environment, working at a fast pace and performing several core activities.

• Exhibits strong and effective leadership attributes. • Excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, collaboration, and empowerment of others.

  • Experience in business strategy and roadmap development, including identification, prioritization, business case development, roadmap creation, and product backlog building.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter, goal oriented, and take initiative to achieve KPIs.
  • Ability to stay organized, problem solve and prioritize workload with attention to detail.
  • Business & Technology Acumen mindset
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
