Bushbalm, a fast-growing skincare brand specializing in bikini line care, seeks a Senior Copywriter to own all brand messaging across consumer touchpoints. This role involves crafting compelling copy for product packaging, digital ads, emails, website content, and brand storytelling, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand voice. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, strong e-commerce and SEO knowledge, and the ability to translate complex benefits into clear, persuasive language. This is a remote, full-time position with a salary range of $75,000-$90,000 CAD.

About the Role
:
The Senior Copywriter sits at the heart of the Bushbalm brand, owning the words behind every consumer touchpoint, from product packaging and performance ads to website copy, emails, and brand storytelling. This role is responsible for shaping how customers discover, understand, and fall in love with Bushbalm across every channel we show up in.
You’ll write across the full customer journey — on-pack copy, email campaigns, paid social ads, product pages, and brand campaigns — bringing together creativity, strategy, and a sharp instinct for what makes people stop, read, and buy. You know how to translate complex product benefits into simple, confident language, and you use performance data to continuously sharpen your work.
This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with Brand, Growth, and Product teams to bring Bushbalm’s voice to life consistently and at scale. You’ll report to the Director of Brand Marketing.
The starting salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000CAD.
Responsibilities:
- Craft copy for product launches, seasonal campaigns, and brand moments
- Develop email campaigns from subject lines to CTAs, automated flows (welcome, post-purchase, winback) and promotional sends
- Write paid social and digital ad copy optimized for conversion across Meta, TikTok, and Google
- Write all on-pack copy: product names, benefit callouts, usage instructions, and claims within regulatory guidelines
- Own and evolve the Bushbalm brand voice; maintain guidelines that keep messaging consistent across all teams
- Write the brand story and maintain copy for About pages, pitch decks, and wholesale or investor materials
- Own copy across the DTC & PRO site: homepage, collection pages, PDPs, landing pages, and evergreen content
- Write with both SEO best practices and human readability in mind; continuously test and improve copy based on performance
Who You Are:
- 5+ years of copywriting or content writing experience, ideally in a DTC, PRO, beauty, wellness, or lifestyle brand
- A Journalism, Marketing, Communications degree or diploma, or equivalent experience
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt tone, voice, and messaging across audiences and channels
- Ability to translate complex product benefits and ingredient stories into simple, confident, consumer-facing language
- Strong e-commerce instincts — you understand how copy influences conversion and use performance data to continuously sharpen your work
- Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and how to write content that performs in search while staying human
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities while maintaining a high bar for quality and attention to detail
- Familiarity with Klaviyo, Shopify, and SEO tools is an asset; experience in personal care or body care is also a plus
