Role summary
Carousel is seeking a highly technical, analytical, and performance-driven Performance Marketing Manager to own and scale their technical marketing engine. This hands-on growth role involves building acquisition systems, optimizing funnels, improving conversion rates, and making data-backed decisions impacting revenue. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in performance marketing, growth, or digital acquisition, with strong expertise in Google Ads, GA4, Google Tag Manager, SEO, conversion optimization, and attribution. While the role is execution-focused, it offers leadership potential, with opportunities to shape technical marketing direction, establish scalable processes, and eventually mentor a marketing team. This is a fully onsite position in Montreal.
Carousel is hiring a Performance Marketing Manager to own and scale our technical marketing engine. We’re looking for someone highly technical, analytical, creative, and performance-driven. This is a hands-on growth role for someone who understands how to build acquisition systems, optimize funnels, improve conversion, and make data-backed decisions that directly impact revenue.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both execution and leadership. While the position is currently very hands-on, we’re looking for someone with strong leadership potential who can help shape our technical marketing direction, take ownership of core processes, and eventually play a key role in scaling out the marketing team.
You won’t just manage campaigns. You’ll help shape how we grow.
What You’ll Do
- Own and scale paid acquisition across Google and other channels
- Build and optimize full-funnel growth strategies
- Lead technical SEO initiatives and website performance improvements
- Improve landing pages, user journeys, and conversion rates
- Create reporting dashboards and analyze campaign performance
- Run A/B tests and growth experiments
- Work closely with leadership, design, and development teams
- Help improve marketing infrastructure, automation, and scalability
- Take ownership of marketing operations and help establish scalable processes for long-term growth
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in performance marketing, growth, or digital acquisition
- Strong Google Ads, GA4, and Google Tag Manager experience
- Strong understanding of SEO, conversion optimization, and attribution
- Experience scaling campaigns with measurable ROI
- Comfortable working hands-on with websites and landing pages
- Figma experience is a major asset
- Someone proactive, fast-moving, and ownership-driven
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to independently drive projects, make decisions, and help build structure within the marketing function
- Someone excited by the opportunity to eventually help mentor a marketing team
