Role summary
Seeking a Day Program Manager in Dover, Delaware, to lead a program serving individuals with developmental disabilities. This full-time, non-exempt role requires a compassionate and driven leader to manage daily operations, staff, budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with developmental disabilities and 1 year of supervisory experience. Responsibilities include staff training and support, scheduling, participant goal monitoring, and maintaining program resources. Job Type: Full-Time | Non-Exempt | 40 hours/week
Pay Range: $24.00 – $32.50 per hour

We’re currently seeking a compassionate, driven Day Program Manager to lead our Day Program in Dover, Delaware. Someone who is ready to inspire, lead, and make a meaningful difference every day.
What You Bring
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or a related field preferred (or currently enrolled in an accredited program)
- High School Diploma or GED required
- At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in a related human services field
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience
- Strong communication skills (must be able to read and write in English)
- Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation (travel required)
What You’ll Do
- Lead, train, and support Direct Support Professional (DSP) staff
- Develop and maintain daily schedules and appropriate staffing ratios
- Oversee transportation routes and staff assignments
- Support and monitor participant goals and progress
- Maintain accurate attendance records for billing purposes
- Manage program budgets, supplies, equipment, and vehicles
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and state regulations
- Maintain required certifications and trainings (including medication administration)
- Oversee all day-to-day operations of the program
