Key responsibilities include using AI coding assistants for development tasks, ensuring AI-generated code meets standards, optimizing workflows with AI tools, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field and 0-2 years of experience are required, along with proficiency in a modern programming language and demonstrated experience with AI coding assistants.

About the Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer (Recent Graduate) who is proficient in integrating AI-augmented workflows into the software development lifecycle. This role is designed for a technically grounded engineer who leverages AI agents and coding assistants to accelerate development, improve code quality, and solve complex problems more efficiently.

You will work alongside experienced engineers to design, build, and maintain scalable applications while adopting and refining industry-standard best practices in an AI-native environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • AI-First Development: Utilize AI coding assistants to generate boilerplate, refactor existing codebases, and rapidly prototype new features.
  • Full-Cycle Engineering: Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications, ensuring AI-generated outputs meet rigorous architectural standards.
  • Workflow Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and streamline the CI/CD pipeline using modern AI tools.
  • Code Quality & Review: Participate in peer code reviews, using AI to assist in debugging and troubleshooting while ensuring clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, design, and QA teams to translate requirements into technical solutions at pace.
  • Technical Research: Stay current with emerging trends in AI-assisted development to continuously improve the team’s collective velocity.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: 0–2 years of practical software development experience (including internships, open-source, or complex personal projects).
  • Core Programming: Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, or C++) with a solid grasp of OOP, data structures, and algorithms.
  • AI-Augmented Development: Demonstrated experience leveraging AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, or Claude) to accelerate development, refactor code, and assist in debugging.
  • AI Code Validation: Ability to critically evaluate, test, and refine AI-generated code to ensure it meets performance, security, and maintainability standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize software performance in an AI-native environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building personal, academic, or open-source projects using AI-assisted workflows
  • Familiarity with web frameworks (React, Node.js, Django, etc.)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Understanding of APIs and integration patterns
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering or using AI agents for debugging, testing, or automation
