The Role

Collectors MD is seeking a
Head of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships
to help scale our revenue-generating partnerships and long-term collaborations across brands, platforms, agencies, and aligned organizations.

This is a
fully remote, 100% commission-based role
, open to candidates seeking either
part-time or full-time
engagement. The role is ideal for someone entrepreneurial, relationship-driven, and comfortable building from the ground up.

You will be responsible for identifying, structuring, and closing partnerships that align with Collectors MD’s mission while driving meaningful revenue growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Source, pitch, and close strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and commercial collaborations
  • Develop relationships with:
  • Brands and platforms in collectibles, fintech, marketplaces, and consumer goods
  • Mental health, wellness, and recovery-aligned organizations
  • Agencies, media buyers, and partnership intermediaries
  • Lead negotiations and help structure partnership terms (sponsorships, pilots, retainers, rev share, etc.)
  • Collaborate closely with the founder on:
  • Go-to-market partnership strategy
  • Pricing frameworks and packaging
  • Long-term partnership roadmaps
  • Represent Collectors MD externally with professionalism, clarity, and credibility
  • Help refine and scale repeatable partnership and sales processes over time

Compensation

  • 100% commission-based
  • Competitive commission rates on all closed and collected revenue
  • Opportunity for long-term upside, including potential role expansion as the organization scales

Qualifications

- Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or revenue generation
- Strong communicator who can sell

- Confident navigating conversations with founders, executives, agencies, and operators
- Self-directed, organized, and comfortable working independently
- Mission-aligned - you understand the responsibility that comes with monetizing sensitive or values-driven spaces

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Familiarity with the collectibles ecosystem (sports cards, TCGs, marketplaces, live selling)
  • Experience in mental health, wellness, consumer advocacy, or regulated industries
  • Existing relationships with brands, agencies, or platforms relevant to the space
