Robotics Engineer
Role summary
CTC is seeking a PLC Programmer for a long-term position in Georgetown, KY. The role involves online and offline robot programming using simulation software, performing reach studies and cycle time analysis, and evaluating quality using various measurement tools. The candidate will also create handover documents and utilize Microsoft Office for communication. A technical degree or equivalent experience, along with proficiency in robotics programming (Kawasaki, Fanuc, Yaskawa), PLC programming (Toyopuc, Allen Bradley, Omron), and digital engineering tools (Catia, Delmia, Solidworks, Inventor), is required. Experience with automated robotic paint shop applications is also necessary.

Sealer, UBC, and Dampening
Run trials and adjust parameters
Evaluate quality drawings and meet standards
Online robot Programming
Primer, Base and Clear
Run trials and adjust parameters
Evaluate quality drawings and meet standards
Off line robot programming
Use simulation software to create robot programs, perform reach studies and cycle time analysis
Evaluate Quality
Use elco-meters, wave-scan and X-Rite
Create Hand Over Documents
Create snapshots of the robot processes for the NAMC’s
Effective communications
Must be able to use Microsoft Office and communicate with the written word
