What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Lead and support preparation efforts for an IRS Safeguard Review
• Review Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and assess compliance readiness
• Identify and assess agency compliance with IRS SCSEM controls
• Provide technical advice for remediation of non-compliant areas
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• 5+ years of expert-level experience as a Security Analyst, including risk assessment and incident response
• 3+ years of experience preparing for and supporting IRS Safeguard Reviews at a state agency
• 3+ years of experience applying IRS SCSEM requirements, including compliance assessment
• 3+ years of experience with IRS Publication 1075 (Rev. 11-2021) compliance
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with Child Support Enforcement systems or knowledge of Child Support program operations
• Familiarity with federal or state regulatory compliance frameworks such as FISMA or NIST
• Experience developing technical documentation and audit support for compliance assessments
