What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Independently lead activities related to assigned projects, including implementation of security controls and risk assessments
• Optimize security management processes for internal customers
• Guide and direct team members on security-related systems and procedures
• Actively participate in cross-functional meetings to identify emerging security requirements
• Train and mentor team members and users on security controls and processes

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of 4+ years of demonstrable work experience in security, preferably in the healthcare research industry
• Certifications such as GSEC, Security+, CIAM, CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar required
• Experience with securing IT technology and understanding of IT risk and attack vectors
• Experience managing complex IT security processes or projects

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• MBA or related Master's degree in a technology field preferred
• Experience with Entra ID MFA/Conditional Access, Okta, Ping, Duo, or SecureAuth
• Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM)
• Experience with Identity and Access Governance solutions (Sailpoint or Saviynt)
