Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Information Technology Security Analyst. The individual in this role will monitor and analyze security incidents, assess vulnerabilities, and ensure the implementation of security measures to protect sensitive data and systems. Daily responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, responding to security breaches, managing threat detection tools, and collaborating with teams to secure applications, networks, and information systems. The analyst will also contribute to developing security policies and strategies to fortify the overall IT infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Cybersecurity and Information Security
• Familiarity with Application Security and Network Security principles and practices
• Expertise in Information Technology systems and their configurations
• Proficiency in risk assessment and implementing security policies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills to convey complex security topics to stakeholders
• Experience with incident response and threat detection is highly desirable
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus
