Product Manager
Role summary
Definity is seeking a Product Manager to define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for its software platform. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, UX, operations, client success, and executive leadership to understand user needs, translate them into product requirements, and guide solutions from concept to launch. Key responsibilities include market research, requirements documentation, and supporting the development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of product management experience in a SaaS environment, a strong understanding of Agile/Scrum, and excellent analytical and communication skills.
Position Overview
The Product Manager plays a critical role in defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Definity’s software platform. You will work closely with engineering, UX, operations, client success, and executive leadership to understand user needs, translate them into product requirements, and guide solutions from concept to launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the product roadmap aligned with Definity’s strategic goals.
- Conduct market, competitive, and customer discovery research.
- Gather and document product and feature requirements.
- Translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Partner with engineering and UX to prioritize and guide development.
- Support testing, QA, and release readiness.
- Engage users and internal teams for feedback.
- Monitor analytics and product performance to enable incremental product enhancements.
Qualifications
- 4-6 years of product management experience within a SaaS environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile or Scrum methodology and product lifecycle.
- Ability to translate complex workflows into intuitive product features.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Analytical, data-driven decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with operationally complex B2B workflows.
- Early-stage or high-growth environment experience.
- Familiarity with workforce management systems.
- Experience with healthcare and/or workforce technology
