Tosca Automation Engineer
Long term contract
Erie, PA/ Piscataway, NJ or Atlanta, GA (Onsite role)
Requirement:
We are looking for experienced Quality Engineers with strong test automation expertise using Tricentis Tosca to support P&C Insurance applications. The role involves hands-on testing across the UI, API, and Database layers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca
- AS1, AS2 Tosca certification
- Perform functional, regression, and system testing for P&C insurance applications
- Validate business workflows across BOP, Workers’ Compensation, Commercial Auto, and General Liability
- Execute and validate API testing (REST services)
- Perform database testing, including data validation and backend verification
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives)
- Manage test cases, defects, and execution using Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and product owners
- Ensure high test coverage and adherence to quality standards
- Good to have experience in other Automation tools such as Selenium
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in test automation using Tricentis Tosca
- Solid background in automation frameworks using Selenium, Postman, and REST Assured
- Solid understanding of P&C Insurance domain (BOP, WC, Commercial Auto, General Liability)
- Hands-on experience with API testing (REST)
- Experience with database testing (SQL queries, data validation)
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps (ADO) for test and defect management
- Experience working in Agile Scrum methodology
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
