Role summary

Senior Field Service Engineer needed for maintenance, repair, and support of Building Automation Systems (BAS) in Clifton, NJ. This role involves starting up, commissioning, and troubleshooting BAS, resolving complex issues, and guiding team members. Responsibilities include managing HVAC systems, third-party integrations, maintaining documentation, monitoring system performance, training clients, and supporting the project lifecycle. The position requires expertise in WebCTRL, HVAC systems, troubleshooting, third-party integrations (BACnet, Modbus, LON), networking (TCP/IP), and blueprint reading. Strong communication and customer interaction skills are essential.

Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Duration: 6 months (Extension possibility)

Location: Clifton, NJ 07014

Pat Range: $70 - $72.88/hr.

Shift: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm

Summary:

Senior Field Service Engineer responsible for maintenance, repair, and support of Building Automation Systems (BAS)
Acts as technical expert, team leader, and customer-facing resource

Key Responsibilities

Start up, commission, and troubleshoot BAS systems
Resolve complex system issues and guide team members
Deliver turnkey solutions for medium to large projects
Manage HVAC systems (AHUs, CW, HW systems) and third-party integrations
Maintain documentation, reports, and system data
Monitor system performance (alarms, trends, reports)
Train clients on system usage
Support project lifecycle and assist with cost estimates
Communicate project status and updates to clients and teams
Ensure safety compliance

Leadership

Lead and mentor Field Engineers
Serve as technical expert and support team development
