Senior Systems Test Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Systems Test Engineer to support system-level testing, DVT characterization, and lab operations for complex hardware and embedded systems.
This is a highly hands-on, lab-focused role responsible for executing validation, supporting design releases, and contributing to overall product quality. The role works closely with Electrical, Firmware, and Systems Engineering to ensure designs are thoroughly tested and ready for release.
Key Responsibilities

• Execute and contribute to test plans for board-level and system-level validation
• Perform DVT (Design Verification Testing) and characterization, including data collection, analysis, and issue identification
• Conduct hands-on regression testing to support design releases and ensure system stability
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across hardware and embedded systems
• Contribute to root cause analysis and collaborate with Engineering teams to resolve issues
• Set up, configure, and maintain lab environments, equipment, and test setups
• Build and refine test fixtures, setups, and validation workflows
• Support prototype builds, validation cycles, and production readiness
• Document test procedures, results, and findings with clarity and consistency
• Provide practical input to improve test coverage, repeatability, and lab efficiency

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of hands-on experience in systems test, validation, or related roles
• Strong experience with:

• System-level and board-level testing
• DVT and product characterization
• Hands-on debugging in a lab environment
• Regression testing for design release

• Proficiency with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, etc.)
• Ability to read schematics and understand system-level behavior

Preferred Experience

• Semiconductor equipment or complex hardware systems
• Experience working in engineering validation environments
• Exposure to embedded systems and firmware interaction
• Familiarity with structured test processes or validation workflows
