Sr. AWS Data Engineer

Rate Range $60 to $63 hr C2C All Inc

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled AWS Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms on AWS. The role focuses on building reliable ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring data quality and security, and enabling analytics and data science use cases through well-architected data lakes and warehouses.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain batch and streaming
ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS services such as AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, and related services
.
- Implement robust data ingestion frameworks from diverse data sources including APIs, databases, and streaming platforms.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all data pipelines.
- Build, optimize, and manage
data lakes and data warehouses leveraging Amazon S3, Redshift, Athena, and Lake Formation.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and high-quality datasets.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
- Stay updated with emerging AWS technologies and recommend continuous improvements to data architecture and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 8+ Years experience required
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including:
- S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, Kinesis, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, Athena, SNS, SQS.
- Proficiency in
SQL, Python, and PySpark.
- Solid understanding of
data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning.
- Experience with
CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, including tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Strong knowledge of AWS security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and compliance standards.
- Experience working with both batch and real-time data processing architectures
