
Product Manager
Role summary
The Product Manager will join a growing team within the Residential Division, focusing on Load Management. This role involves advancing and integrating smart breakers and other residential products like Generac/Ecobee Smart Thermostats. Success requires experience in leading or launching products and commercializing solutions, with potential involvement in end-of-life planning for mature product lines. Key responsibilities include creating product roadmaps, collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting market research, tracking product performance, and communicating with stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years of professional experience including 2+ years in product management, is required.
Working out of our Waukesha WI HQ, you will be part of a growing team in the area of Load Management within our newly formed Residential Division. In this role you will be working on the advancement and integration of smart breakers as well as the continued integration of other residential products such as the Generac/Ecobee Smart Thermostats. Experience in leading or launching products and commercializing solutions is paramount to the success of the candidate in this role.
There could also be some work on end of life planning for other more mature product lines.
Major Responsibilities
- Create and manage product roadmaps for individual product areas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product features.
- Conduct basic market research and competitive analysis.
- Assist in tracking product performance and identifying areas for enhancement.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders on product updates.
Minimum Job Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience in Business, Engineering, or related field.
Work Experience
- 5+ years of professional experience including minimum of 2+ years of experience in product management or related fields.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in fostering team collaboration and driving results.
- focused on hands-on execution and operational management of a specific product area, laying the groundwork for broader product management responsibilities.
