AI Engineer

Over the next few years, every college and university will have AI systems working alongside advisors, enrollment teams, and student support staff. At Edvise, we’re building that future by creating the AI operating layer for higher education, helping institutions improve student engagement, retention, advising, and operational efficiency through secure, production-grade AI workflows.

We’re looking for an AI Engineer to help build the intelligence that powers Edvise. In this role, you’ll work on LLM-based systems, conversational agents, predictive models, and knowledge workflows that support real student-facing and staff-facing use cases, turning advances in AI into reliable products that colleges can actually use.

As a member of our AI team, you might be a fit if you:

• have experience building and shipping AI or machine learning systems in production environments
• enjoy working across models, data, backend systems, and product workflows to deliver real outcomes
• have worked with LLMs, prompt engineering, retrieval pipelines, or applied NLP systems
• care about reliability, safety, privacy, and building AI systems that people can trust
