Role summary
Eight Sleep, a sleep fitness company, is seeking a Director of Business Operations to work closely with the CEO on all aspects of the business. This role involves managing projects, developing new business opportunities, and overseeing hiring for key roles. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in project management, consulting, or banking, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and data synthesis skills. Responsibilities include business intelligence, opportunity modeling, and setting goals for special projects to accelerate the company's mission. This position is based in the New York office with occasional travel.

How you'll contribute
* Work closely with the CEO on all aspects of the business
* Board and fundraising decks
* OKRs definition and quarterly post-mortems
* Business intelligence/Dashboarding
* New business development and opportunity modeling
* Itinerant project and program management
* Hiring for key roles
* Set goals for a special projects squad and develop plans to achieve those goals as quickly as possible
* Research opportunities to expand into new products that help accelerate our mission
What you need to succeed
* 2 years of experience in project management, consulting or banking
* Strong project management skills and ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to synthesize complex information and data to inform decision-making
* Data mindset
* Hard-working and high-intensity

* This role is based out of Eight Sleep’s New York office
* You have flexibility with occasional travel to and from Miami, FL and San Francisco, CA
