Role Overview
The Senior Manager, Operations is responsible for leading the end-to-end execution, scaling, and optimization of the intake programs at the Oregon facility. This role translates business priorities into scalable operational strategies and systems, ensuring throughput, quality, and inventory accuracy targets are consistently achieved.
Operating as a senior leader within the operation, this role owns cross-functional coordination and resolution of complex operational challenges while building and scaling a high-performing team. The Senior Manager partners closely with Operations, Grading, Vault, Marketplace, Quality, and Tech teams to improve workflows, enhance system integration, and deliver measurable business impact.
What You’ll Own
Program Execution & Operational Excellence
Own and lead end-to-end intake operations, ensuring SLA, quality, and productivity targets are consistently met or exceeded
Translate business priorities into scalable operating plans, aligning workflows, staffing, and capacity to volume fluctuations and demand signals
Ensure strict adherence to inventory control, chain-of-custody, and security standards, maintaining the integrity of high-value assets
Process Improvement & Optimization
Leverage operational data and insights to identify systemic bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and error trends
Design and implement scalable process improvements that enhance accuracy, reduce rework, and increase throughput
Standardize workflows and drive adoption of best practices to enable consistency and operational scalability
Cross-Functional Leadership
Partner with Vault, Marketplace, Quality, and Tech leadership to improve system connectivity and operational handoffs
Lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance end-to-end workflow visibility and reduce friction across the value chain
Act as a primary liaison between operations, business stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring alignment and execution against shared goals
Performance Management & Insights
Establish and manage key operational metrics (throughput, quality, cost, inventory accuracy) with clear accountability
Identify risks and proactively implement corrective actions to mitigate operational and customer impact
Drive capacity planning, workforce strategy, and resource alignment through data-driven insights
Team Leadership & Development
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing operations team, including front-line leaders and individual contributors
Establish clear performance expectations, coaching mechanisms, and development plans to scale team capability
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
Business Impact
Deliver against productivity, cost, and service level targets for intake operations
Build scalable processes and infrastructure to support the growth of Fanatics Collectibles
Drive continuous improvement initiatives with measurable impact across quality, efficiency, and customer experience
What We’re Looking For
6+ years of experience in operations, logistics, inventory, or program management environments
Proven track record of leading teams and owning programs in high-volume, process-driven environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment across teams
Experience building and improving operational processes, workflows, and systems at scale
Preferred
Experience working with high-value inventory or collectibles
Familiarity with WMS or inventory management systems
Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience
