About The Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our dynamic team at Accurate Metal Machining. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting manufacturing operations, with a focus on workforce optimization, labor relations, and compliance. As HR Manager, you will serve as a strategic partner to operations leadership, ensuring that HR initiatives align with production goals and organizational growth. Your expertise will help foster a positive work environment, promote safety culture, and enhance employee engagement. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of employment laws and best HR practices within a manufacturing setting.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management within a manufacturing environment is required. Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance standards, and safety regulations is essential. Proven experience in workforce planning, employee relations, and implementing HR policies that support operational efficiency is highly preferred. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and foster a positive organizational culture. Certification in HR (such as SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals to optimize the workforce and support manufacturing operations.
Manage recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives to ensure the hiring of skilled and motivated employees.
Oversee labor relations, including negotiations, conflict resolution, and maintaining positive employee relations.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and safety regulations.
Coordinate employee training and development programs to enhance skills, safety awareness, and leadership capabilities.
Monitor workforce metrics and analyze data to identify trends, address issues, and improve overall HR processes.
Support performance management systems, including appraisals, disciplinary actions, and recognition programs.
Promote a safety-first culture by collaborating with safety teams and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Provide guidance and support to managers on HR-related matters, including employee performance, engagement, and conflict resolution.
Maintain accurate HR records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
