About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic team at IPSecure. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents across our clients' networks and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat intelligence, and incident management processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security measures, conduct vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, threat analysis, or incident response.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security tools.
- Proficiency in security information and event management (SIEM) tools and scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or GIAC are preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and analyze potential threats using SIEM tools and other security platforms.
- Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend appropriate remediation actions.
- Develop and update incident response plans and procedures to ensure rapid and effective response to security breaches.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls, patches, and system updates.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of security incidents, investigations, and resolutions.
- Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to internal teams and clients.
