About The Role
Join Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems, Cyber & Intelligence division, as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative software solutions that support critical cyber infrastructure and intelligence operations. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying full-stack applications primarily using Java, supporting the Data Transformation Solutions (DTS) TTO project. Your work will directly contribute to enabling data transformation, malware analysis, and cyber threat intelligence processing, thereby helping to detect and mitigate cyber threats effectively. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to mission-driven projects that have a real-world impact. The role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment across multiple locations, including Maryland and Texas.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in full-stack software development. Proven expertise in Java development, including experience with middle-tier and backend data storage solutions, is essential. Familiarity with ETL processes, data transformation, and cloud-based development environments is highly desirable. Candidates must have strong knowledge of modern software development practices, including Agile methodologies, version control systems, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD). Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively are also required. Due to the nature of the work, candidates must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and robust full-stack applications using Java and related technologies.
• Building and supporting the middle-tier components and backend data storage systems to ensure efficient data processing and retrieval.
• Developing and supporting ETL processes to facilitate data transformation and integration across various platforms.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participating in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Contributing to innovative projects by leveraging cutting-edge technologies and best practices in software engineering.
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Ensuring all solutions comply with security standards and organizational policies.
