About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Cyber & Intelligence division within Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical cyber infrastructure projects that support national security objectives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust full-stack applications that facilitate data transformation, malware analysis, and cyber threat intelligence sharing. Your expertise will directly impact our ability to detect, analyze, and mitigate cyber threats, ensuring the safety and security of our nation's digital infrastructure.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, coupled with at least fourteen (14) years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs of similar scope and complexity. Candidates with four (4) additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree are also encouraged to apply. A strong background in full-stack development, particularly with Java, JavaScript, and Python, is essential. Experience working within agile environments and utilizing modern DevOps tools and practices is required. Candidates must hold a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph to be considered for this role.
Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications supporting cyber infrastructure and data transformation solutions.
  • Implement secure, scalable, and high-performance software components using Java, JavaScript, and Python within an agile development environment.
  • Develop and support ETL processes to facilitate data extraction, transformation, and loading across various platforms.
  • Contribute to the development of micro-services architectures, ensuring modularity and reusability of code.
  • Integrate corporate authentication services to ensure secure access and data integrity across applications.
  • Design and implement local caching services to optimize data retrieval and system performance.
  • Utilize containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes for deployment and orchestration of applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using tools like Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and GitLab to manage project workflows and version control.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold quality standards and facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in software engineering.
