About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior FP&A Business Systems Analyst to join McKesson's Finance team. This pivotal role focuses on driving enterprise-wide financial planning and analysis through SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). As a key contributor, you will lead the implementation, support, and continuous improvement of SAC-based solutions, enabling data-driven decision-making across various business units. The role offers an excellent opportunity to influence financial processes, promote technological innovation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the company's financial systems landscape.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in FP&A, financial systems analysis, or similar roles within large, complex organizations is required. Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analytics, and Excel is essential, with experience in Power BI considered a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are necessary to succeed in this role. Proven ability to drive process improvements and manage change effectively in dynamic environments is highly valued.
Minimum requirements include a degree or equivalent with typically 7+ years of relevant experience. Preferred qualifications include hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud in planning, budgeting, and reporting, ideally through at least two full lifecycle implementations. Experience with other FP&A tools such as SAP BPC, Oracle EPM, or Hyperion, along with project management experience in finance systems implementations, is advantageous. Candidates with healthcare or large enterprise experience, especially those familiar with Agile methodologies, will be preferred.
Responsibilities
- SAC Implementation & Support: Lead and support SAC planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting solutions. Act as a liaison between finance and technology teams to translate business requirements into effective SAC capabilities.
- Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with finance, IT, and business unit stakeholders. Participate actively in cross-functional teams to promote adoption and continuous process improvements.
- Governance & Change Management: Champion change management initiatives, standardize FP&A data models, and ensure alignment of planning processes across various business units.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process and system enhancements, implementing solutions that support evolving financial reporting and analysis needs.
- Data Management: Ensure the integrity of financial data, oversee master data management, and manage data ingestion pipelines for FP&A systems to guarantee accuracy and consistency.
- User Training & Support: Conduct comprehensive training sessions for users on SAC functionalities, reporting, and analytics. Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and guidance to ensure optimal system utilization.
