About The Role
The Human Resources Generalist - Seasonal at Six Flags Fiesta Texas is an entry-level position designed to support the park’s staffing and HR operations during peak seasons. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in human resources within a fast-paced, vibrant environment. The HR Generalist will be responsible for engaging with potential candidates, managing recruitment processes, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the park’s staffing levels, supporting compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive work environment for all team members.
Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent; preferred but not mandatory
• Valid driver’s license required
• 1+ year experience in Human Resources, customer service, or sales preferred but not required
• Experience in a theme park or high-volume, fast-paced environment is advantageous
• Familiarity with HR systems such as Dayforce, ARS, Smartsheet, and ICIMs is helpful
• Data entry experience is preferred
• Ability to multitask effectively and work efficiently under pressure
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee information
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently
• Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine interest in engaging with candidates
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities
As a Human Resources Generalist at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, your primary responsibility will be to support the recruitment and onboarding processes for new and re-hire employees. You will serve as a key point of contact for applicants, conducting interviews, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Your role will involve maintaining accurate employee records, tracking I9 documentation, and supporting pre-employment background checks to facilitate smooth hiring operations.
In addition, you will oversee the daily operations of the Employment Center, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for all visitors. You will handle incoming and outgoing calls professionally, providing excellent communication and customer service to candidates, team members, and internal departments. Collaborating with other HR teams and departments, you will assist in various projects, training initiatives, and recruiting events aimed at attracting top talent and promoting a positive work culture.
You will also be responsible for promoting awareness of company policies and employment laws, coaching team members on compliance issues, and supporting labor optimization efforts through accurate data entry and record keeping. Additionally, you will participate in initiatives to foster a healthy, inclusive, and engaging workplace environment, contributing to the overall success and reputation of Six Flags Fiesta Texas.
