Java Software Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Java Software Engineer based in Reno, NV, with the flexibility to work remotely part of the time. The Java Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software applications. Day-to-day tasks include creating and maintaining microservices, writing efficient and scalable code, optimizing backend systems using the Spring Framework, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives. Additional responsibilities include debugging, testing, and deploying high-quality software solutions while adhering to industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java and strong programming skills
• Experience with developing, maintaining, and optimizing Microservices
• Familiarity with the Spring Framework and related tools
• Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members in a hybrid work environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• A Computer Science degree or related discipline is preferred but not required
• Experience in the financial technology sector is a plus
