Role summary

The Supply Chain Coordinator provides essential support for supply chain activities across Integrated Project Services (IPS), focusing on estimating, project execution, and ongoing MSA programs. This role, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, is responsible for organizing, tracking, and aligning materials, equipment, and subcontractor inputs with project requirements. Key duties include managing vendor communications, coordinating pricing, and supporting procurement workflows to ensure execution readiness, schedule alignment, and delivery predictability for both project-specific needs and recurring program requirements.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Supply Chain Coordinator provides coordinated support for supply‑chain activities across Integrated Project Services (IPS), supporting estimating, project execution, and ongoing MSA programs. Working under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager, this role ensures that materials, equipment, and subcontractor inputs are organized, tracked, and aligned with project and program requirements, while supporting vendor communication, pricing coordination, and procurement workflows.

The Supply Chain Coordinator supports both project‑specific scopes and recurring program needs, helping ensure that supply‑chain inputs contribute to execution readiness, schedule alignment, and delivery predictability.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Estimating & Pre-Construction Support

  • Support estimating efforts by coordinating:
  • Request for Quotations (RFQs)
  • Vendor pricing inputs
  • Material and subcontractor data collection
  • Assist in preparing and organizing estimate support information and documentation
  • Liaise with vendors to obtain required technical, commercial, and scope clarifications
  • Support alignment of vendor inputs with estimating requirements and delivery assumptions

Vendor Coordination & Communication

  • Act as a point of coordination between vendors, IPS, and project teams for:
  • Pricing requests
  • Clarifications
  • Delivery updates
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Track vendor responses, schedules, and deliverables to support project and program needs
  • Assist in coordinating vendor evaluations and supporting subcontractor selection processes

Program / MSA Support

  • Support Regional Operations and IPS with ongoing MSA program coordination, including:
  • Vendor pricing consistency and benchmarking
  • Capacity tracking across multiple programs
  • Coordination of recurring procurement requirements
  • Support regional MSA purchasing activities as required, including:
  • Coordinating procurement requests
  • Executing purchase orders where appropriate
  • Communicating with vendors
  • Maintaining procurement documentation in alignment with Regional Operations processes
  • Assist in identifying and escalating supply‑chain constraints impacting recurring work

Execution Alignment & Project Support

  • Support IPS‑led and regionally supported projects by:
  • Coordinating procurement activities with project schedules
  • Tracking material deliveries and subcontractor readiness
  • Supporting expediting and procurement coordination to maintain alignment between material availability and field execution requirements
  • Work with Project Managers and Construction Managers to:
  • Maintain alignment between procurement timelines and execution plans
  • Identify and escalate supply‑chain gaps impacting delivery

Supply Chain Data & Documentation Management

  • Maintain accurate supply‑chain records, including:
  • Vendor information
  • Pricing data
  • Procurement tracking logs
  • Support reporting and data tracking for use in:
  • Estimating
  • Project execution
  • MSA program oversight
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of supply‑chain documentation and templates

Process Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Assist in improving supply‑chain coordination processes and workflows
  • Support implementation of tools and systems for tracking vendor performance and procurement activities
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives supporting IPS supply‑chain functions

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • 2–5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or project coordination roles
  • Post‑secondary education in Business, Supply Chain Management, Construction, or related field preferred
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Procurement workflows
  • Vendor coordination
  • Project delivery processes
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to track, organize, and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP system experience (e.g., Viewpoint) considered an asset

DEVELOPMENT PATH

The Supply Chain Coordinator role provides a foundation for progression into advanced roles within IPS, including Senior Coordinator, Estimating, Project Controls, or Supply Chain Management positions, with exposure to both project execution and program‑level operations.
