Position Overview

We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to support and evolve a complex hybrid infrastructure environment spanning on-prem, co-location, and cloud-based systems. This role will be responsible for managing core data center infrastructure, improving reliability and performance, and helping drive modern infrastructure and DevOps practices across the environment.

The right person will have strong hands-on experience across compute, storage, networking, automation, and platform infrastructure. This is a technical role for someone who can operate effectively in production environments, troubleshoot across the stack, and help build scalable, reliable systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support data center infrastructure across on-prem, co-location, and hybrid cloud environments
• Administer and maintain core infrastructure technologies including compute, storage, virtualization, networking, and security platforms
• Support and optimize NetApp storage environments
• Manage Cisco UCS infrastructure and related compute platforms
• Support Ceph environments where applicable; prior Ceph experience is preferred but not required
• Work with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and network security infrastructure
• Support and maintain Kubernetes-based environments
• Build, maintain, and improve infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools
• Partner with engineering and DevOps teams to improve infrastructure delivery, reliability, observability, and change management
• Support production databases and underlying infrastructure dependencies
• Troubleshoot issues across servers, storage, databases, networking, and platform services
• Contribute to infrastructure standards, documentation, disaster recovery planning, and operational best practices
• Help ensure high availability, performance, and security of critical systems

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, or a similar hands-on infrastructure role
• Strong experience managing data center infrastructure in on-prem, co-location, and/or hybrid cloud environments
• Hands-on experience with NetApp storage
• Experience with Cisco UCS
• Strong networking fundamentals, including routing, switching, firewalls, and general infrastructure reliability
• Experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls or similar enterprise security platforms
• Experience working with Kubernetes in production environments
• Experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and collaboration models
• Experience supporting databases and the infrastructure layers they depend on
• Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, systems, and network layers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Ceph
• Experience in highly available or mission-critical environments
• Exposure to hybrid cloud architecture and cloud-integrated infrastructure operations
• Experience with monitoring, observability, backup, disaster recovery, and capacity planning
• Experience supporting regulated, security-conscious, or performance-sensitive environments
